As I have mentioned before, M-R-S built wheel tractors using mostly IHC components and the UD-14A, and UD-18A power units. They were built for both agricultural and construction use, but they were primarily aimed at the Cat DW-10 and DW-15 wheel tractors. Just for information this is a bssic comparison of the M-R-S 14 and the Cat DW-10 and the M-R-S 18 and the Cat DW-15.

M-R-S- 14, 460.7 cu in 4 cylinder, 76 hp@ 1400 rpm, 322# torque @ 850 rpm. Early Cat DW-10, 468 cu in 6 cylinder, 62 hp@ 1600 rpm, 292# torque @ 1100 rpm. Late Cat DW-10, 525 cu in 6 cylinder, 78.5 hp @ 1600 rpm, 335# torque @ 1240 rpm.

M-R-S 18, 691 cu in 6 cylinder, 125 hp@ 1600 rpm, 462# torque @ 850 rpm. Cat DW-15, 805 cu in 6 cylinder, 125 hp @ 1600 rpm, ? torque.

All of these models were standard with 21 x 25 20 ply rear tires and 12 x 20 14ply front tires

On October 4, Eran Buck posted that he had a uncle who has a M-R-S 18. Perhaps he can post a picture of this rare tractor.

I've only seen one two pictures of those M.R.S. tractors I think it would be so cool to see one in person, let alone own one.

Thanks for that info..... ...JJ
