Mine has not worked since I got the tractor. Not had a need for it yet but will be needing it this winter to feed cows. All the heater hoses seem to be in place and the inline shut-offs are working but the heater control valve to turn coolant flow off/on on top and inside cab will not move. I'm assuming this to be the problem. Best place to get this is IH?

Huh!-cable. Figured it was an inline valve. So you are telling me the heater control lever in the cab is hooked to an inline valve via cable.

Yeah,

That "handle" in the cab is hooked to about a 12" cable that runs over to the shut off valve.

While you're in there, you'll want to blow all the dirt out of the heater core. It's gonna be packed with dirt and grime.

When you do get it going, it will absolutely drive you out of there, hence the reason for the control valve.

The only downside is the diesel. Takes some "working" to heat up that rascal.

Yeah,

Go in thru the outer roof panel to gain access. Might just be that darned cable is frozen.
