Went to see a TD-5 last week. Nice original 5 roller. Two questions: where is the serial plate-seems to have a 30 year coat of grease, and I did not want to go scraping all over. Any idea of where the fair value would be? I would classify the unit as a 90 plus point original, shedded and not banged up at all....QR

The model/serial # plate will be on the RH side of the flywheel housing above where the starter mounts.... if its still there, alot were destroyed from battery acid as the batteries are located above it.

I am only familiar with the T-6 and TD-6 and the plate would be in the operator area on the "dash" so to speak. Engine stuff you can expect to find some people here who are invaluable but for most crawler specific questions I would also post on red power in the construction forum. They could probably help with value.
