I had a guy in to take down a tree today. I know when not to do it myself. The tree got away from him and hit my garage and the #31 loader that I had stored behind it. I need to come up with a value for the insurance man. Since I couldn't find any in the ads, I was hoping some of you could help me out. In case it makes any difference, I am located in the southwest corner of Massachusetts.
Thanks, Ed

Hi, Must have been a big tree those loaders are tough. Dad bought one new in the 40's, there's still not a weld or a crack on it. I agree, you should get 500 bucks. Good luck, Chuck

I paid $200 for my #31 8 years ago. I've seen them sell for less, but those were a bit sprung and bent up, and mine is nice and straight. I think $500 would be a reasonable figure.

Rusty,
Do you know the differance between a #30 and #31 loader. I bought a loader, am not sure of the number. Is appaears to be a model 31, but am not sure. Would you have any good pictures of yours I could ge tyou to email to me? I especially need a picture where and how it maounts to the frame of the tractor on the side in the front. The guy I got this from said there are brackets that mount on the front of the tractor that the loader slides into, so I am trying to identify this thing.
Thanks
Jim
