I was looking at a 450 narrow front gas tractor that the owner says it just needs a battery. Asking price is $500. They just made these in 56 57 58. It does have 3pt and pto. Metal isn't bad. What is it worth? (loaded question)

I'd jump on it fast. If in fact all it needs is a battery then you have a $2000 tractor for a 1/4 of that. Even if it needs a turn up you still have a $2000 tractor for only $500. Ya it will cost you maybe $100 to get up and running but its will worht what they want for it. Shoot you could part it out and make $2000 plus on it

That is the best (opinion) of the M origined farmalls. They are fewer in number than other series, and very nice. That price is just over scrap price, buy it. JimN

thats very cheap! Think if the fast hitch is in good condition that will easily bring $300+. Thats 200 you pay for the tractor then if it has fenders that another 200+. It should be worth around +$2000.
