great, that is just the information i was looking for, what i meant about the oil thing, is, the oil that raises the lift up and down is there a pump built into the 3pt unit or does it run off a pump in front of the crankshaft, or does it use the power steering pump, thanks again.

Hi Tyler, as Hugh said the 444 is UK built and belongs to the B275,B414,434,444,384 family of tractors. The B250 belonged to the same family but the early versions had a different 3pt hitch than the above.

Find a scrap yard with one of the above.

Good luck
JimB

u can get the hydraulic fluid from caseih. advanced auto also sells a hytran spec compliant fluid for $33, and autozone sells just a generalfluid for $25 5 gallons of course. not sure what it costs at case.

As for the hitch fitting, i have no idea

Tyler, I am not sure but I dont think they will interchange. These two tractors are quite different. The 404 is baisicly a modern version of a Super C . Someone here will know more about it than I do. I did have a 444 for 2 years and rearend is different than my 404. I think the444 draws oil from rearend housing, but could be wrong about that to.
