I found out a couple of days ago that the accountant at our home office in Jackson, MS worked about 20 years or so for the IHC plant in Memphis, TN. I really enjoyed the conversation with him, especially after reading about the demolition of the Farmall plant in Rock Island, IL. Didn't even know he had worked for IHC, just came up in casual conversation. Any others out there who worked at the Memphis plant?

This is from Case/IH web site...

1948..Memphis works began production of cotton pickers. This plant also produced hay tools including round and square balers and mower conditioners as well as offset discs.

Do not know current status of plant but do not think it is in operation.

I dont have a cotton picker, but I do have a430 all twine square baler, and a 241&2400 roller. Maybe I am connected to Memphis.
