What should the rear axle length be on a 1952 Super C? Was there an option for long axles or short axles? Is there a normal rear wheel width for this tractor? Someone cut the axels off with a torch most likely to get it through gates or out of the barn!!!!!

Thanks,
Joe

Hey Joe, if it had 100 inch axles the housings will be longer too, there will be a parting line on the casting about 6 inches in from the bearing retainer.

People around here refer to the 100 inch axles as cotton axles.Maybe for a cotton picker.

After my first post thought I should look in my parts catalog. Actually, the 88" and 100" axles were both optional to the standard which was 80". This should be correct as it's from the book and not my memory. Hal

I believe the standard was 88" axles while 100" axles could be ordered. Hope this helps, Hal.
