Was wanting some advice. I have read on here about using some parts on an H from a 300. What is involved in using the live hydraulics from a 300 on an H other than the obvious, mainly the front gears and bolt pattern? Also, I believe I read a post about using the manifold and carb to get a little more power from the H if overhauled using crater pistons, etc. Any knowledge is greatly appreciated. Thanks

You did your home work, The real question is what year is the H? if mid 1950 or newer, it probably has the correct gears and bolt pattern. You will need the Hydraulic resivoir from a Stage 2 SH or use the belly pump for a resivoir. The 300 has built in cylinder controlls in the dash that could be used, but adapting them would be inventive. Go for it, we can help. JimN
