My vote is for the crankcase breather tube bracket. One end fastens with an oilpan bolt.

TDK has it right. That is the crankcase breather tube bracket. It slips over the end of the tube and one of the oil pan bolts holds it in place.

Looks like the bracket that holds the crankcase breather tube. Hard to tell the size of it in pic though.

Don't think so,the bracket that holds the breather tube is just a small thing stamped out of sheet metal.

Interesting bracket!
The size is not clear in the photo, Looks about 6 to 8 inches?? Are the holes the same in both ends (the shadow disguises them. What context did it arive in your hands? JimN

I do not recognize that bracket. Possibly is for a mounted implement of some sort. I do not think it is a part of the original tractor.
