I am wanting to purchase steering parts for an Farmall AV. I am having difficulty finding these parts anywhere. New parts are a thing of the past, but if I can find some, it would be great. I will gladly welcome any help....thanks...

Does yours have automotive style tie rod ends or the ball and socket type with a curved arm coming down and the up on the spindle?

Thanks, the AV has the ball and socket type with the curved arm. I have not seen the automotive type. Matching the serial #'s. this AV was made in 1940. The steering parts of the ti-rods, and the center ti-rod , especially is very difficult to find. Thanks again..

Kevin, First you are going to have to have a A,AV Parts manual. In the manual you will see that many A&AV parts are interchangable. Bearings, bushings, seals, gaskets, etc. are available from Case NH Dealer. You will find regularly listed on the Farmall EBay pages many steering parts for A&AV. Most Super A&AV parts are interchangable with AV too. Also keep in mind that the cast front center axle of the heavy duty Super A is the same one used on the AV & Super AV. Good luck.

Thanks John.. the AV steering parts especially the center steering arm is not interchangable with an A model. Many other parts are, but not some of the steering parts. Thanks, Kevin
