Only in minnesota. 4 days ago we had temps in the high 70's & low 80's This afternoon the lawns & rooftops are white with snow. It's nice to have a warm shop to work on an old tractor.

As per my alais I'm in NW GA. I had a employee once that had moved from MN to GA. That winter we had a snow and sleet storm. He couldn't believe that the snow and sleet would strip limbs off trees. This is HEAVY snow around here. Only got to 83 degrees today but turning to the high 60's this weekend. You guys bundle up and carry on. Thanks for all the advice I've received on this forum. David.

It was overcast here all day and yeah, it did spit a little snow once. I heard the birds goin' south. I'm right on the flyway for the sandhill cranes.

I live where the sandhill cranes are going. Winter before last, on a distressingly cold day (maybe 45*), I went with a sister and nephew to the Santee Wildlife Refuge to stand on a viewing platform and watch the cranes towering over a thousand geese in a bush hogged grain field. There were rafts of uncountable ducks and coots on the lake who set off in a massive panic when a bald eagle glided over.

I'm betting those guys up north have a little less mercury showing, but we are about 26F, clearing and not much for wind.
