I have been working all summer to get a polish on my plow bottoms and get it set up right. After all the plowing posts today I just had to go out and open a garden for next year.

Made one last adjustment on the hitch and out I went. After a couple rounds I liked what I was seeing and patted myself on the back...that was a mistake! When I reached the headland I pulled the trip rope and with my index finger on the steering wheel I turned right...turned right...turn right...self don't hit the barn, turn right.

Hmm, the power steering was not working, I looked back at my freshly plowed garden with little $$$$$'s floating out of the ground.

The good news is that I only lost a belt. Anybody have a NAPA part # for me, it is still 6V with the generator, Super M.

Thack,

Cowman's right. There's no "stock" belt for power steering because many of them were powered by old car power steering pumps cobbed on to the engine with chunks of old manure spreader apron.

Check the belt for a size. Hopefully it's not so badly shredded that you can't read the number stamped into it.

Was afraid of that, I"ll have to do like Cowman said and measure, it is in that garden somewhere.

Even with our best efforts them dollars will grow wings and fly away. I think you better measure your old belt or at least the distance around the pulleys. Hard to tell how it is set up.
