Finally got around to installing at two way valve on my '53 Super M with live hydraulics. It works great! Possible problem is that the pump and all hoses get too hot to touch after running for a short time. I checked the valve and fluid runs through it back to the reservoir while the valve is is the neutral position. I have the factory hydraulic rod locked fully back with the tab on the side of the reservoir. Supply is from a fitting in front of the fuel tank. Return is "tee'd" into the filler pipe. Do I have a problem, or is this normal? Thanks

how much fluid does your system hold? put a live pump on a "H" several years ago and decided that i was circulating the fluid to fast. build the following to hold more oil. not sure of dimensions but the tank holds almost 7 gallons.
