That's so funny...and I agree, its REALLY miserably hot here in the south. You would think we'd eventually get used to it, but I never caught on to all of that getting acclimated to the heat stuff! :-) Not that I'd want to deal with snow either, I have to add. Our southern winters are pretty great.

I agree. This (Pensacola) is the best place in the world to live, weatherwise, for 8 months out of the year. But, from June 15th until October 15th, it is like a journey into the depths of hell, because of the combination of temperature and humidity. Then, there's them Hurry-canes to worry 'bout. My house got wrecked badly in Hurricane Ivan (2004); we got hit by Charley in 2005, and brushed by Katrina while it was on its way to N.O. last year. I have had my hurricane shutters up 11 times in the past 12 years. I am weary..... But, so far, the old tractor has come through fine. mike

Jossette:

I don't know where you are, but it sounds great for about the next 2-3 months.

I'll bear up under the heat; but, PU-LEEEEZE - no more hurricanes for a while.

It's sooooo oooo dry here,I dropped a 3/8's inch, 20 foot log chain and it went down a crack in the ground. I heard it tinkling down as it went and I never saw anything more of it.
