Changing Hy Tran ???

Drained water and old oil from farmall 400 trans/diff and replaced with hytran. It shure looks thin but main question is how does proper amount of oil get all the way up to the front of the transmission. I added oil at deck in the little hole by shifter. Thanks.

I would have put 5 gallons of diesel in it first and ran it down the road to clean it out good. Then let it drip dry for a while then put new in.

After running it for an hour or so (not under load, check the level again. The cases are interconnected. JimN
