I am selling my 1952 Cub. I am trying to get a ball park value. It has been stripped, primered and painted w/Dupont. Rear tires are new, fronts very good. Battery 2 years old. Have dozer blade, sickle bar w/xtra blade, single 12" plow and cultivators w/o shovels. Any ideas as to value. Currently turns over but will not start. May have a spark problem. Thank you in advance.

The value depends greatly on location.

In central Missouri. Usually, a Cub in very good condition, with mower, will bring between $2000- and $2500-. However. There have been numerous recent adds for a nice looking, good running Cub with mower for $2250-. The add has been running for weeks.

Non running Cubs - a whole lot less. Suggest you get the Cub running, then sell.

Check the local newspapers under farm tractors and the weekly add sheets. This will give you the asking price on Cubs in your area.

The effort to make it run will be worth aout 1/2 the price Thus, as described and running, in many locations with hobby farms, and big yards it might bring $3400 to $4000, (less in rural west) Not running $1800 to $2000. Fix it and be happy. JimN
