How hard is it on the front end of a H to sit on one front tire? I need to take the radiator off and the tires are in the way of my arms. I'm not going to be driving it this way just sitting for a few hours. Is it going to hurt anything to take one front tire off for a few hours? I have seen it done in a few pictures that I have seen on different web sites, but if is going to put undo stress on the front end I will figure out a way to support the tractor from the frame. Thanks for any advise.

Won't hurt a thing. I've done it several times. In the last 67 years, think how many H's & M's been drove back to the shop with one front tire flat: probably even with cultivators or corn pickers mounted on them. ken

Guilty of that one myself just recently. Was out with the baler on the back of the H and picked up something in the field. Goin' down the road back to the farm, the steering wheel was fighting me a little bit. Sure enough...left front was flat. Don't know for how long, but it was.

You'll be ok to have it on one tire for a bit. That's what the tire guys do when the put new fronts on.
