Any body ever done this? I know its not the right rotation and all that, just wondering if any one has ever done before? I was thinking of using the reverse direction blades and just mounting it up like that. I dont think the bearings would mind, maybe?

What did HUGH say the capscrews wont stay tight left hand throw have left hand threads. You mite try and tighten with impact but wouldnt bet on them staying tight bearings dont care about rotation.

Hi John I have a L59 on my 154. Ordered it from IH/wood dealer. Got it all mounted. Tryed to mow and it would not cut. called dealer they sent out servce man and a set of blades, cut good till blades came off. I used a drop of red loctite on blade bolts been running for two years. works good Bill.

If you have room, and if it does not cause excess wear on the belt, you can cross it before it get's to the deck, that will reverse direction. Or, you might be able to reroute it.

John: If the rotor hubs are not turning the right direction, the bolts that hold the blades will not stay tight. In fact it will back them right out.

I thought about that as well. I just aquired this thing for nothing and my 3160 deck is shot so I thought I might could use it. I looked at my buddys correct deck for hius 154 and about the only thung I could be different was the blades.Wasnt thinking about the bolt.
