I work in a scrap metal facility. A couple of days ago a complete F20 cane in. It caught my eye right away. Upon further inspection I realized that it had been in a fire. The magneto in drooping on the distributor end. It has a road gear that is pretty melted (gears showing. Everthing that was soldered is melted away. Other than that, the tractor is beautiful. Is this tractor restorable?

Thanks,

Brian

You might grab it for a parts doner and then find an unburnt one to fix up. Then peddle the iron when you are done.

Not for any reasonable amount of money, in my opinion. F20's are quite common, if you're fierce to have one, look around.

Fire does dastardly deeds to tractors. see if you can salvage a few parts, but you probably don't even want to trust them. Father-in-law lost a BN in a fire a few years back, wouldn't even think about restoring.
