Does anyone know if late F-20"s (mine is 144xxx) had a choke at the operators station? Mine has two brackets made on the fuel tank supports which look like a choke rod would go through. I"m trying to determine if they are original and what their function is. Thanks

Ive got a 39 serial number 148xxx and it does not have a choke up there. I added electric start to this one so also added a choke rod up there.

I doubt it as the F20 was never available with electric start. Which side of the tank are the brackets on?

Hi there Jon, I have a 1939 "late" F-20 and mine only has the choke up front, but when you see some F-20's with electric start, they may have had the choke up by the operator as well. later, eb
