I just rebuilt my farmall c , put everyting back together,and it wont start.I have good spark,it turns over good, and i think i timed it right. Need some help to start it up. Thanks George

Get #1 on compression T.D.C. Then make sure the rotor is lined up with the terminal going to #1. Facing the dist cap #1 is about 2 oclock.

You might have it timed 180 out and if so it will not run. They way I check that is pull 2 plug wires and switch them from one side of the cap to the other side of the cap. If it starts on 2 cylinders then you know you are 180 out and you just need to switch the other 2 then

If it where me I would just leave it that way. But you could pull the distubutor off and turn it 180 and then put the wires back on but as I said I would leave it, but I'm lazy so. It will not hurt anything if thats what your worryed about. One of my tractors is 180 out as far as how the book says it should be and has been ever since I put the new mag on it and that was 4 years ago

I would turn the dist. 180, put the plug wires back where they are suposed to be and time it acording to the manual.....
