I just bought a 1957 Farmall Cub that the sheet metal is horrible. Need hood, gas tank, fenders, floor board, and seat post. Will all Cub years interchange with my 1957 ?? Thanks

One aditional note, if your 57 has the stainless steel emblems in good shape, they are worth about half the price of the cub.

In a word, yes. The fenders, platform and seat post changed very little, if at all, from 1947-1979. All the major castings are virtually identical from the first to the last. Even though the shape of the hood/tank changed over the years, the mounting didn't, so you could put any style hood/grille on it that you want.

Keep in mind that the gas tank and hood are one piece. They're SUPPOSED to be one piece, so don't go cutting them apart thinking that someone welded them together by mistake.

There are some minor differences in the hood on the "round hood" Cubs. There are three distinct series: '47-'54, '55-'57, '58-'63. The '47-'54 have ridges on the sides of the hood. The '55-'57 has a depression in the side of the hood for the stainless FARMALL CUB emblem and a white decal on the '57. The '58-'63 is smooth-sided IIRC.

Just '47 thru '63...in '64 they changed the grille and grille frame, I s'pose so it'd look more like the Cub Cadets. But the only major difference in the '47 thru '63 [not counting decals vs. metal nameplates] was the grille...screen-type thru about '54, the multi-bar thru approximately '58, and the 4-bar grille thru '63, AFAIK.
