I am getting fuel into the engine oil sump. I believe the Roosa pump shaft seal is bad. Can I replace this myself in my farm workshop or should I send it out? Thanks Superman

That can be a DIY , just make sure that you have the engine at TDC and also remove the littel plate on the side of the injection pump and amke sure that the lines line up there and remove all lines and remove the pump and DO NOT TURN IT also wire back the throttel shaft into the full fuel posision this will hold the govener weights in place. When you replace the two lip seals make sure that they are done correctly and becareful not to roll the one when going back together and get new copper washers for the lines and don't over tighten them as you can twist them off.
