Can someone tell me if the 3 point hitch parts off of a 1206 will bolt on to a 706 in place of the fast hitch?

A parts book would go a long way here if I had one!

Thanks

Like Jim J said, it can be made to work but everything from the rockshaft to the torsion bar will have to be changed, including, I believe, the top housing. Cat III parts on 1206 are a lot bigger than Cat II parts on 706/806. Personally, I don't believe it would be worth the expense involved. You will be much better off to find a donor 706/806.

The 706 3pt is a category two hitch and the 1206 is a category three hitch. The rockshaft and the load control shaft off of the 1206 is a lot bigger. It can be done but you will have to change a lot of parts.

Hi Tim,

Never owned either of those models, but I'll just betcha that she'll bolt right up since they are both large chassis outfits.
