hey fellers, the larger freeze plug on the back of my SA is trying to rust out. would you use the original type or the compression fit?

how much do the compression type stick out? this needs to be flush for the flywheel clearance.Thanks

guess i'll use the oem type. got one on order. one of these days i'll get this ol tractor back together. seems i keep finding things to fix.

And OEM style plug will be fine just look how long that one lasted , now you can get a Sainless steel one but that is a bit of over kill.

Takes a little hunting. Get a regular type brass and be done with it.
