Used a H70 as prime power for 3 years prior to getting more land. Did an OK job on tillage, but not as good as a gear drive would have. Before going to the field, do a complete maintenance on the tractor. Clean the rad and change the antifreeze and the coolant filter.Doesn't have a coolant filter? Get one on now. Change the hydraulic oil, filter, and the HYDRO filter. Take it easy in the field, watching the temperature. They will do alot of work if properly cared for. I had a total of 7 Hydros, in tractors, combines, and windrowers. Zero major repairs. Biggest was the direction capsules. These were good units, just improperly marketed...QR..
