All the bigger and later model tractors must all be ready for spring, haven't seen many posts on them for a while. We're still chipping away at the winter programs and trade ins. This week I've been working on 8930 and 7120 Magnum tractors, and also a 5288 that were all sold. The 5288 had a radiator leak, removed it to be fixed, put it back in and all back together by noon, and the radiator still leaked. Had to remove it again, put it back in again, and it leaked again! This time the guy came out and fixed it on the spot. There wasn't much accomplished that day. A New Holland skidsteer had to fit in there also for some repairs but I don't like to advertise that I work on them very much. Then today the electricity flow was slow and it was really noticable on the clocks. The end of the day took a long time to get there.

I'm sitting on the 5th floor of a sizing tower sizing seed corn 60 hours a week.Yesterday I could see five different fields being worked, four were shredding stocks and one was fertilizing. Only one red tractor in the mix,one was blue and the other three were green. There are getting to be as many blue tractors around here as there are red ones anymore. John.

John in NE

Down here in the south of NM not too far from the Rio Grande. The row crop farmers use mostly JD. The pecan growers use Ford NH and small farmers and contractors use Kubota.

I have not started on ours yet since i don't have the nice warm shop anymore and mother nature has not turned up the heat yet . But don't have much to do just change out one MCV pump and maybe redo the T/A on the 706 that my buddy had a guy install when i was on the road driven as he screwed up something and it is heading south but that will not take long to split it and stuff a new one in and i have to replace one coulter on the plow . Everything else is ready to go
