I know you are all tired of "so whats it worth" and the preacher says you cant ask for forgiveness before you commit the sin, but just this once please humor me I'll never ask again.(lol) I am a green man for the most part, but have recently aquired a 51 model cub. The question I have is about the equipment. I can value the tractor based on previous ads, but what are the extras worth? It has front and rear wheel weights, complete cultivators minus the disc hillers, a mounted disc plow, double gang disc, mounted sickle mower, and a belt pulley attachment. all the equipment is inside a shed on boards in good shape minus the disc harrow which is sitting ouside, but appears to be useable in its present condition. This is not fast hitch equipment, but mounted. Thanks so very much!!!!

wilamayb, it depends on what part of the country you are in as to what things are worth. (at least sell for)In my neck of the woods: 1-Wheel weights go for approximately twenty five dollars each.
2-Cultivators minus hiller"s approximately one hundred fifty front and rear.
3-Disk plow fifty dollars. (hard to find too)
4-Double gang disk approximately one hundred fifty or so. (sometimes two fifty)
5-Sickle mower approximately fifty dollars.(I just gave a perfect one away)
6-Belt pulley attachment. Zero dollars. (I sold one on e-bay for fifty dollars.) That said, every once in a while someone will offer twice that amount because they want or need it. Then that is the worth at that particular time.

At prices like that you better be buying instead of giving away as those sound awful cheap.

I tried the site, and searched, but found very little information about the value of implements. Where is the thread that you are talking about? Thanks again

Go to the mentioned site. Look in the for sale/wanted section. Select the second firm from the top of the list. When the site comes up, select implements.

There must be some problems with the mentioned site. I couldn't get the search function to work.

It will vary somewhat with different areas, and Cubs bring way more than their size would seem to justify (at least in my opinion).

I don't know about the other stuff, but if the front wheel weights are IH, not copies, they are worth at least about $150.00 for a pair around here in S.E. PA.

Sorry for not including that the tractor and equipment are for resale. That is why I am interested in value. If it was for me it wouldnt matter to me. I have lots of junk that is very valuable to me, but not worth much from a monetary standpoint.

If you already acquired the Cub, then what difference does it make what the extra stuff is worth, unless you plan on selling it? What most guys on this forum know is the "gotta have factor" makes some tractors worth alot more than they really are.

I would be interested in the double gang disk, depending on where you are. Where is it, would you take $150 for it, and can you e-mail me info & pictures?
