I would like to put a narrow front end on my super C and was wondering what I need to do it. Would the narrow front bolt on where the wide fronts steering arm is now or would I have to change the entire casting with the steering box in it?

All you have to do is pull wide out and bolt narrow to stering with 4 bolts. want wide front will trade with you have narrow. What part of the world you in.

I appreciate your input guys. I never thought about the steering stop. I am planning on selling the wide front and trading with the buyers narrow front when I get thim time to work on it. Thanks again.

SC Puller: Yes the narrow front does bolt right up to same plate as the wide front control arm.

I not sure the SC uses the same principle as a steering stop as the larger H and M. On the H and M one of the four bolts that bolt up the narrow front has a long head as a stop to stop narrow front from turning too sharp. There is a gruve in the casting above that steering plate for the long head bolt to run in and act as a stop. The SC may have a stop within the steering box itself. Once you get the wide front off, that can be quite quickly checked. You may well find you tractor with wide front already has the long head bolt in place. Most H and M had it regardless of wide or narrow front.

The stop is already built into the tractor. The bolts are common bolts.

Trade with someone, I would believe that would be optimal as all needed parts would need to be exchanged!
