Hi Morgan, the filler plug by the gear shift lever is for transmission and differential oil only. The level check plug for trans/diff is the right side of the transmission by the left brake pedal and the foot rest. It uses 80 or 90 wt gear oil.

The hydraulic reservior is under the seat and is filled by the plug on top of the casting behind the seat. If you have a loader there maybe a return hydraulic hose plumbed into this hole with a pipe T. The hydraulics require Hytran hydraulic oil.

From Operator's Manual:
Hydraulic Lift Housing Filler Plug
Remove plug and check oil level. Top up until the oil is level with top of housing.
