Just ordered a service manual from this site this morning. It is amazing what a good wash job does for producing leaks you didn't know were there.
Rock shaft on left side seems to have small leak. Three inch diameter puddle on concrete floor after setting two days. I have pulled rock shafts and replaced seals on JD 4020 before but never one of IH. On the JD you had to replace shaft along with seals. Is this same for IH and can it be done without moving wheel/tire assy out. Didn't have to on the 4020.
Any specific procedures?

Mich,

Rockshaft seals are a 3-minute repair; bang, bang, just like a wheel seal after the lift arm is pulled off it's splines. Bushings however require the shaft removal.

There are index marks on both the lift arm and the end of the rockshaft for linin' 'er up again.
