After replacing the disc brakes still can't stop the tractor without excessive presure. Any Ideas?

Swinging draw bar seem to be bent to the left. Could this be for a reason. No signs of miss use> Ben

check and see if the hanger bracket on the back of the axle housing on the right side is hung upside down...

Though we don't know which model, I will assume that the expander plate between the disks was not taken apart. There cannot be any rust or worn pockets in the ramps and three balls that wedge the plates apart. The balls and ramps can be preserved with a very light film of anti sieze to keep them working a bit longer. (some say not to put anything on them, but I think they live where it is dry) If there is more than 1/8" space between plate and end housing when assembled, Machining the outer housing may be needed to decrease to 1/16". (or a sheet steel ring could be made to fit into the end housing).
Glazed surfaces will also reduce effectiveness, break the glaze with 200 grit carbide paper (both disks and Iron surfaces.
