I have a TD5 International Dozer with the BD 144 diesel engine and I can't seem to find an injection pump for it. I am thinking of replacing the engine with a a gas engine I am told that an C135 will fit but there might be a problem with the bell housing, might have to use an industrail block or from a combine, any ideas

Don't even think about switching it to a C135!! The C135 has 4 different bell housing styles and the crawler one is unique to the crawler in that the starter is on the left side and is notched on the left. The power unit from combines, swathers, etc is notched on the right for the starter. The Farmall and International 404 version has no notches and has full bolt complement. The Farmall 340 and International 330, 340 has a much larger bell housing that will not fit at all. There are lots of pump shops everywhere that can repair the Lucas CAV pumps. They were built under patent from Standadyne Roosa Mmaster. If you can't find a rebuilt there are lots of B275, B414, 424, 444, 354, 364, and 384 diesels that are now in wreckers yards being parted out.

I don"t know where you are, but I may be able to help. I am parting out a running 340 utility. It has the C-135 in it. I had thought about putting it in a Super C, but I don"t have a non-running one yet. Email me and maybe we can get together.

See, thats my problem we bought the tractor with out the pump, thought we could find one. It is the BPE style inline pump. everyone cringes when they hear what we are looking for. Also there is a cutout on the leftside of the tractor as your sitting on it for the starter but the starter is mounted on the right side facing forward. thanks
