Was there ever a Farmall W2 Manufactured? I work at an International dealership and a customer brought in a picture of a tractor he found that looks to have a bailer, or combine engine in it and on the side of the hood says W2. Is this a real tractor or something someone built in grandpas woodshead? Thanks for any feed back.

Some guys made the shop mules into W-2's, so they could have a series of W's. W2 W4 W6 W9. I think there is a guy in Geulph Ont, who has made one, i saw it in RPM.

Sounds like it might have been a "Shop Mule" these were made using IH parts by other companies and would have looked like you described.

IHC never manufactured a McCormick W-2. What the picture may have been was a Hebard Shop Mule which used the A/U-2 engine and most of the drive & chassis components of the International A. It is about what a W-2 would have been if IHC had ever built one. The only other option is a home made W-2.
