the tractor i found only has 3700 hours hardly any rust a perfect interior new t/a new a/c pump new alternator 3 remotes no leaks that i can see. really need a loder for this tractor also not sure which will fit. the guy is asking 8,000 for this tractor does this sound like a good deal or better or what. p.s also comes with duals cab is immaculate inside

The price sounds pretty good. We have a 1586 and it has been a dependable tractor but I would not want to use it as a loader...just my 2 cents.

i have had another friend tell me the same as far as not running a loader. why is this such a bad tractor to have a loader on? thanx

While not having any personal knowledge about this tractor, this sounds like a lot of tractor for the low hours and the relatively low price for the horsepower. That tractor should be about 150 or so horsepower, and compare that with a new one, and you can see what you could be getting. . Harley

its a 161 pto tractor from the info i can find and it seems like a good deal just will be my first international. i think a little more tractor than i need but the price seems right.

Are you sure about the hours? 3700 hours over 25 years (if it was one of the last ones built) is only 148 hours per year. Thats a lot of tractor for that little use. If it was treated with any degree of care the TA shouldn't have needed replaced at 3700 hours either.

i was told that it went out because it was always usd in the wrong position. tractor was used to pull a feed trailer and a bailer.
