I'm in dire need of some info...I'm going to have my Dads Super A rebuilt and I want to buy most of the parts myself before carrying it to the shop to cut down on some of the cost...how can I tell which model Super A I have, if it has flat head pistons or slant...any help would be welcome...

All Super A's prior to SN 310300 had the C113 block. From 310300 to 356001 had the C123 block
with thicker sleeves and after SN 356001 they had
the C123cid engine with a water pump. You need to determine which engine your tractor has before buying any parts. If the engine has never been rebuilt it probably has the flat head pistons, but
I doubt that. You may need to pull the head to see which sleeves & pistons you have. The C113 engine had an original bore of 3.0" and they could be raised to 123cid using 3.125" sleeve & piston kit. The C123 blocks could use the 3.250" sleeve & piston kit and they would become C133 engines. Hal
