Anybody else wish a reply would bring the original message back to the first page? I keep losing my originals. Is there something I am not doing correctly?

Because this site is so active the post disappear to the second page very quickly. That activity also makes this site great. I'm not complaining, because I read ALOT more than I am able to reply and I love this site, but it would be nice to have them reappear to the top when replied to.

You can start a new post and link to the previous one, that's the only way you can do it with this type forum. The moderator is willing to change to a more "modern" forum, but every time it's brought up it gets shouted down.

For those of us looking for help that would be better. Until the problem is solved I often find myself looking 4 pages deep and then there are very few new suggestions 'cuz its out of sight

ya, I kinda like forums where the hot topics stay at the top. but this works too. I check messages several times a day and seldom scroll more than about halfway down the 1st page. anything more than 6 hours old is old news.
