My uncle has seen tractor that he needs help in identifying.
S/N IBH 22662
He says it appears to be a Massey-Harris frame;dual rear wheels, with a heavy steel spacer ring between the inner and outer wheel;and the outer wheel is bolted up to the spacer.
There is about 12" ground clearance.
It is fitted with a heavy hydraulics-operated
bucket and/or forks on the front.
Anyone have any ideas?

An I4 will have I4 stamped on the serial number tag. Do you have a picture?

IBH is the serial number prefix for I-4's, not I4, on the serial tag.

The tractor is a 1949 International I-4 which is the industrial version of the McCormick W-4 which is the standard or wheel tractor version of the Farmall H which is a row crop tractor. IHC built six tractors in this size tractor (same engine): Farmall H, Farmall HV, McCormick W-4, McCormick O-4, McCormick OS-4, and International I-4.
