My C farmall needs the starter rod and attaching parts for starter, anybody have a pic of what is missing? All thats there is the starter motor. Also wondering if it is a pull rod or pus rod to engage starter ? also wondering if someone might have a steering wheel for a c farmall. Thats it two easy questions, now all I need are some parts and advice..... ...
Thank you

For the steering wheel, go to left hand side of page on this site and click on "parts". Follow the menus and there you will find a steering wheel to fit your C. Plenty of other places to get those steering wheels as well.

I have the starter rod for a C tractor. If interested, let me know. I am also looking for a starter (short push rod) for my Farmall A.

Thank You,

MACE

Mace-thanks for the reply-Do you have a starter for a C, I think I have the wrong one on my C as there is no way a pull type lever will work, the sw on top of the starter is facing the wrong direction ??I am interested in a lever and a strng wheel if you have either

I don"t have a C model starter. It sounds as if you have an A or B model starter. I believe you need the starter that has the switch mounted on the back of it, instead of near the front. This would allow you to pull on the lever to make switch to starter button contact. Sorry, I can"t help you with that one. I do have the pull-start rod with the bracket if you are interested. I got an old starter on my A which fits none of the above. It has no place or holes to mount a switch.

You need a switch that bolts on top of the starter, a lever to engage the button, and a rod that attaches to the lever. You can get these new from OEM Tractor Parts, 800-283-2122, perhaps other places too, or from salvage. The C uses a pull rod.
