Well I got the loader on my utility and the second scoop of decomposed granite one of the front tires blew. The tires that are on there are pertty rotten 6.50/16 car or truck tires and I would like to put on the Tri Rib. Is 6.50/16 the correct size and is the Tri Rib the correct tire for this tractor. Joe

Tri-ribbed tires are good for directional control in soil. Most are four ply or four ply rated belted tires. If the work intended is Decomposed Granite, or aggrigate, I would choose a 6 or 8ply rated tire with 5 ribs, or a radial light truck tire (looks aren't everything) again with 6-8ply rating. Keeping them fairly hard 35-40 psi will reduce steering effort on some surfaces, and softer pressures will prove easier to steer on other surfaces. Good luck,
JimN

If they're not right, they're right enough... Tractors don't look right with anything but tri-ribs on the front... Get 6 ply rated, 8 if you can find them. Typical 4 ply won't last under a loader, and are only good for show tractors.

Ok Thanks, I am assuming that 6.50/16 would be right also.

6.50 is good. The 6.50 number may not be found on tires from some suppliers. It might translate into a 195 or 205-78-16 in some brands.
Good hunting
