I have a question about the control valves on my tractor. I have a very small leak on coming from two locations on my control valves. Is there a seal everything looks original( no rebuild) is there a seal conditioner or anything I can do to not go through a rebuild? also have a leak at the hydraulic pump only when the control arm is in the up position. any help or ideas?

I just recently found an easy fix to a hyd leak I had on my H. Drips from the bottom of the lift-all pump led me to clean everything off. After that I engaged the pump briefly, shut everything off and got underneath with a flashlight. Saw the leak was coming from where the brake-pedal side hyd port pipe screws into the casting of the pump. Pulled the pipe and put on some teflon tape, screwed it back in tight and have been leak-free for some time now.

You need to clean everything off and tell us where the leaks are originating from and, as the other post says, on what model and year of tractor.

240 utility tractor. the leak is coming from the side of the control valves. there is a flat cover ( not the hydraulic oil filter cover) ( 4 bolts) that is slowly leaking.
