Go to the Red Power forum(type it into a search engine to find it) and go under their "construction equipment" page. You'll find a ton of stuff about old IH crawlers. Even a guy who uses them to make his living....

That being said, I'd sure like to find a usable one in the TD-9 or TD-6 size range for reasonable money that's close to home....even be willing to look at one needing an engine....

Always been interested in the 6 and 9 as a kid. A contractor did some ditching with the two sizes and some moving of stumps that were pushed out earlier with a Cat D 8 for my dad.

Been interested a a TD 9 myself and looking for one to add to my work toys.

Have neighbors back in ND that still use a TD9 and a TD18...

Mid Michigan Old Gas Tractor club has it's annual show today. You'll see a mess of them there including a BIG one.

And the TD24 isn't even shown. One of my favorite toys as a kid was a plastic model of a TD24. I was sure that nothing could ever be built that was bigger or had more power than the real one.

Red Power Forum under construction equipment. Most knowledgable (and a tad crazy) IHC TD crawler experience available. Careful, you could get hooked!
