Front wheel bearings-how tight?

How tight do you make the front wheel bearings on your letter series tractors? I don't know how hot they get compaired to a car or truck. Tight, then back to the first place you can put the pin thru? Thanks, Dave..

You are correct, except that I would say snug, rather than tight, then back off to the next notch. Wheel should spin freely, yet have no end play.

Sorry CNKS, I was thinking tight for a wheel bearing not tight like lug bolts etc. Thanks, Dave...
