Where do I drain hydraulics on 300 utility?

Just got the 300 utility and the hydraulic fluid is milky, so want to change it. It has a loader, and I have all the rams off so that much is drained. But, how do I drain the hydraulic tank? Called the dealer, and he could not find any drain in his books. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

There'r right about drain, but it does't drain all of the oil. Still be quite a little in res.
Best bite bullet, take top off clean filter and the res. then you know its clean.

Mark is correct about the location of the drain. If your tractor has power steering this location is also where the return line attaches. Unfortunately this will only drain the reservoir, not the pump or lines. I would loosen the lines where they attach to the pump to drain lines and pump. If the fliud is milky then I'd do it this way to get all of it as possible out so as not to contaminate the new fluid.

I have two 300U"s w/power steering and the drain is on the left side of the resevoir base as stated. But both of mine have the ps return line going to a plug on the front base just left of the pump lines. The screen is about about the size of a paper towel tube and is about $80. I think the reason the oil is milky is because the o-ring seal between the motor and the pump is shot and the motor oil has been mixing with the hyd. fluid.

Hello,
If I remember correctly the drain plug is on the left side (sitting on the tractor) about 6" below where the seat mounts and just in front of the brake cover. The hydraulic reservoir is what the seat mounts to. The drain plug is 3/8 pipe thread and this might be a good time to check the suction screen. Have a good one. Mark

And the screen is accessed by removing the reservior top cover. Its a huge chunk of cast metal, best kept to a cherry picker or chain fall.
