Was mowing yesterday on my cub. It has a 5 foot belly mower on it. The front wheel came off of the mower deck and I ran over it. All heck broke loose! It sheered the shaft off the left bearing assembly, I need a whole new assembly. My question is what model mower deck do I have?? Im sure its a IH mower deck. Its yellow annd white. Has 3 blades, 5 foot deck. Center pully has 3 grooves, 2 side pullys have one groove, driven off the rear pto.

Thanks

Ron

Most of those parts are available from your IH dealer. The whole assembly isn't available. Hal

I have the same mower on my 154 Lo-Boy. It is a 3160 (C-3) IH mower. There is a website with manuals for the mower the url is Link to look at a picture to make sure.

I think the Woods deck used a single belt. I"m pretty sure what you are describing is a "C3" deck. I think they were made for IH by some other company. Check with any IH dealer, and ask about parts for C3 deck. They should have the parts available by special order.

From looking at pictures on this site, its a IH mower for sure. It does only have one large belt however Ive seen pics of my deck on this site with 3belts. Someone must have done a swap some years ago. ill find out today if I can get parts for it.

BE CAREFUL about making assumptions like that. The Danco/IH C3 and Woods L59 look VERY similar to each other. The main differences are in how the mower is mounted; the Danco/IH is a much simpler setup.

I would look closely on that mower deck for a model number. It may be a Woods mower. They used a lot of Woods' mowers on Cubs. I would check with your local Woods dealer to see if they have an assembly that might fit your mower.

Would it be possible to have a new shaft machined
and install new bearings in the old assembly. Hal
