when i put in one image it shows up fine in the preview but when i have multiple images the preview shows up as a small X and nothing else. i was told that if the pictures aren't in the preview then they won't show in the message. what gives?

Hi Casey,

That "image box" is a preset code for just one image.

If you want more than one picture to show up in your post, you have to forget the box and manually type the code right in your message.

First thing is to correctly size, save and load the picture so that it shows up right, then each picture's address has to be written in like so:

Left pointing carrot, img, space, src, equal sign, quotation mark, your picture's complete url address, quotation mark, right pointing carrot. Leave out the commas of course.

When you hit the 'submit' button the first time, the whole she-bang changes from text to HTML and yep, you're right, if the picture doesn't show up in the preview, it won't show up after you post it.

Likewise, you can change the color, size or font of your type, the centering of the picture and a lot of other things with HTML code. But, that's another whole chapter.

Allan

You got 'er, ol' Bud.

img src means the picture's source. Like this:

third party image

Are you using html code? I have trouble when I copy and paste the url it moves the code ahead and leaves a blank space, I have to backspace to take it out.

Simply put: You can only put ONE picture in the box.

If you want to put multiple pictures in your post, you have to add them manually with the HTML code.
