Hi all,
We were wondering if anyone can help; Firstly, we have been searching high and low for a (side) bonnet badge for this tractor (see below) but to no avail. It's now a bit urgent, as we are showing the tractor in a weeks time! Can anyone suggest where we might be able to get hold of one?: Rectangular (long and thin) 20.5 x 2", made of aluminium. Says "McCORMICK" in large capital letters, and then "INTERNATIONAL" in smaller letters along the bottom. The McCormick lettering is white, and the rest of the badge colour is gold. The "International" lettering being pressed into the metal.

Secondly, we bought the vehicle without a Registration document - in fact no paperwork at all. DVLA have advised we obtain some kind of "proof" of the number plate if we wish to keep it when we register. Does anyone know of an International Tractor's Club that might be able to help? In fact any advice what-so-ever would be gratefully received. Thanks and kind regards, Sarah.

Hi all,
Just a note to say thanks very much for all your help and information. We are contacting the various companies and organisations already to see if they can help. We had already tried (almost) everywhere in the UK, and the manufacturers in Germany, and one company in Holland! So, the search continues! :-)
Anyway - thanks again to you all. Very best wishes,
Sarah

Next time, you might consider specifying that you're in the UK, Great Britain, "England." This group is primarily North American, US and Canada.

If you're having a hard time finding the part over there, you'll NEVER find it here in North America, that's for sure. Very few true British Internationals were marketed in the USA without being "Americanized" first. I doubt that an International 523 has ever set wheel on American soil, except maybe a select handful shipped over by avid collectors.

Hi Sarah, The only website I have is for a Farmall H and they may be able to steer you to an
International Harvester Collectors Club. I'm sure some of the people that post on here may be members.

Try this website and Good Luck, Hal
