I have antifreeze dripping from the back of the engine block. I removed the inspection panel to expose the flywheel and have determined that the leak must be somewhere on the back of the block. What do you guys think is going on. Any suggestions? Is there a way to repair this without splitting the tractor?

There are two "freeze plugs", correct name is expansion plug, back there -- no way to replace except splitting.

There is a soft plug, (freeze plug ) in the back of the block that will have to be replaced. You will have to split the tractor to get at it. It is a good time to take a wire or something and drag out any sludge built up in the water jacket. Find a brass freeze plug to put in, it should last many times longer. Check out condition of clutch while you are in there
