seems to barely pick up turning plows oil gets hot but doesn,t get any weaker longer i run it how could i tell if it is pump or control valve or does any one have a good suggestion to fix this thing

ccr: I would check pump first, usually that is culpert with these on lift problems. The touch control unit itself will usually leak, be rough, leaking down, etc. long before it causes any lift problems. I think the touch control will eventually cause lift problems, but only after the above has happened for some time.

For example, I have one right now, and if I leave tractor idling with plow up, it will leak down about 2" then hydraulics will fetch it right back up and it will start to leak down again. This leak is internal. It also has enough external leak it keeps torque wet with oil. The tractor however has no problems lifting the 2 bottom plow. In fact I had my rotary hoe, (twice as heavy as plow) on Mon., no problems lifting that either.
